New Winter Plants

Picked up new plants from a home selling plants between Kinder & Indian Village: dynasty red flowering cabbage, dynasty white flowering cabbage and kamome red flowering kale.

Thinking of planing them along the house instead of in the garden.

Garden Update

Temp is shifting from frost for a few nights then 70's for a few days. Not much rain.

Green Tomatoes

Frost the last few nights. Picked a few roma tomatoes today and put them in a bag wrapped in newspaper with apples and banana to see if they ripen. Will check each day.



About a week and a half later

Bell and peppers

Put up 6 bags of chopped bell pepper and one bag of banana pepper

Cream Cheese
Parmesan Cheese

Slice peppers and stuff, grill, Eat!

Beef Vegetable Soup

Stew meat
Corn
String beans
Diced Tomatoes
Onions
Garlic
Beef Bouillon cubes
Tomato Sauce

Brown your stew meat, then add onions and garlic and continue to brown until onions are not recognizable. Add rest of ingredients and water, simmer until meat is tender. Add 2 or 3 bouillon cubes about 30 minutes before finished cooking.
