[/caption]I picked this camera up last night after seeing another Aiptek last week. I did a little research online before actualy making a purchased and chose this model because it is expandable up to a 32 gig SD card, has a 3x Optical zoom, and comes with a remote control. I plan on using it as my outdoor camera for hunting and fishing and did not want to spend a lot of money and this camera fell into that category thanks to an after Thanksgiving sale. So far I have to say this thing is great. The playback on my 50 inch 720p television looks excellent, although I'll mainly be uploading lower quality format to this site and burning home/hunting videos to DVD quality for archiving.

I think battery gets you about 60 minutes if you are shooting at 1080p or 720p at 60fps. About 120 minutes if you shoot at 720 at 30fps, and lower resolutions get you longer recording times. The nice view finder keeps track of all this for you and gives you a heads up display of how much record time you have left.
This camcorder is definatley a big thumbs up from way back for me. I can't wait to get in the marsh for some hunting footage. All future videos should be taken using this camera.
