Update 1" rain this week. Highs in upper 80's, Lowes lower 60's

String Change, Home Guitar

Tried some new D'Addario EXP19 strings and love them. Tuned down 1/2 step to cut some of the twang out of the new strings and they really sound great.

Canned foods

Picked these today to slice up and make hot vinegar, including the okra

Fall Garden 10-13-10

Planted spinach and carrots by the oinion tops, bought more onion tops and parsley 2 plant

Fall Garden 2010 update 10-13-10

Planted more lettuce seed and it rained about an inch that night (Monday) and last night as well. High have been in upper 80's and Lowes in 60's. Front came through last dropping temps back down to the 50's

Fall Garden 2010 Oct 5th update

Chaz helped me replant snow peas around the outside of the garden. I think the high was mid to upper 80's today with 18% humidity, nights have been down in the 50's, with no rain at all. Very DRY summer.

Skirting continues

Chaz helped me extend the skirting to the end of the trailer and finished putting the bottom all the way around. Need to get about 4 or 5 more sheets and will be finshed. Then need to insttall at least 2 access doors.

Fall Garden 2010 October 4th Update

Lettuce and carrots are starting to come up, had to replant broccali, some cabbage also. Snow peas and sunflowers did not come up, niether did any of the flowers around the outside of the garden. Planning on replanting snow peas. Temp has been in the mid 90's before this week but now temp is in the mid to low 80's

Garden Work

Chaz helped me finish the wooden fence around the garden and I stapled the chicken wire to the back of the wood slats over the weekend. Also cut the wooden fence post down to 12" above the wooden slats
