Rain

Got a quarter inch of rain 2 days ago. Picked up an 8' tall pink crape mrytle tree that is starting to look pretty dead. Planted it in front of the A\C unit to provide some shade.

Finishing Compost

Finished compost from this winter. This pile is about 6 inches thick. I shoveled it out the bottom of my compost bin. It was compacted to about a foot high.

Garden Update

Comming along. Picking cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, bell pepper, jalapeno, banana peppers and okra.

Free Roma Tomato Plants

Stopped by Stines in Iowa about 2 weeks ago to look at their veggie plants on sale and saw these roma plants. Went back today to pick some up and they were free.

Schliterbahn, Galveston

Had the perfect day with Chaz in Galveston. 10 hours straight at schliterbahn then a walk on the beach for sea shells.
