Catfish lines set

Chaz and I set out a dozen catfish yo-yo's in the intercoastal this afternoon in between most of the rain showers.

Lacassine Opens

Well Lacassine opened today. It has rained for the past 3 days and the highs have been in the 50/60 degree range. Since I have been sick this week I decided to sit this opening day out. Reports from both Brendan & Kaleb say only 5 fish per both of their boats.

Oasis issues

Have been working on Oasis issues since 11:40 when the cluster failed over. Aristocrat would not let me open a ticket, said we are on credit hold. Called Larry and he eventually got Pete to open a ticket for us.

iPhone Review

Well I finally swallowed my pride and got an iPhone. I have had it for about 2 weeks now and it's simply blows away any other phone I have used, including my HTC Cingular 8125.

The few complaints that I do have like no copy/past and no Multimedia Messaging can easily be added in future firmware releases. The apps on the app store more than make up for the few shortcomings. I had been thinking of purchasing a GPS unit, but with the iphone and the App Store I downloaded a great GPS App for $2.99 not to mention all the other usefull apps I have found for free.

Exchange syncing is another big plus. Even though I could do this on my 8125 the email looks twice as good on the iphone and is formated 100 times better. I also can manage the individual email messages much easier on the iphone than on the windows mobile phone.
