Coleman Watch w/ Digital Temp Gauge

Tempurature Watch
Tempurature Watch
This is the Caleman digital watch with a digital tempurature gauge. I had been looking for a watch with sunrise/sunset info but all the ones I can find are currently over $60. I picked this one up from the local Walmart for only $15. The watch came in a good size water/dust proof case and included a 7 in 1 multitool. The multitool and case are a nice addition for the money and the case is large enough to carry and cell phone plus wallet and additional space.

Now back to the watch. The watch itself is worth the $15 I spent and seems to be of sturdy construction, however I bought this particular model for the tempurature gauge. According to the instructions, in fahrenheit mode there is a +/- 4 degrees in accuracy and the watch will not take an accurate reading while worn. That means you have to take it off, wait over 10 minutes and still be up to 4 degrees off.

Overall I have to give this watch a bad review for the simple fact that I bought it for the tempurature feature and it is basicaly useless.

Boat Blind, marsh tested!

Well, I had the first test for the boat blind this weekend. Over all it passed with flying colors. Ducks came in and never had a clue that I was there. It was the first time I had ducks light in my decoys at this location because we had always just hunted in the boat parked along the edge of the pond with only camo netting drapped over the side of the boat. I attached more grass and whips on the second hunt the next day. I am still thinking of adding FastGrass mats?

Hunters Specialties Camo Burlap

12'x4' worth of camo burlap for $10 what a bargin, if it holds up. I picked this up from a local store to conceal a boat blind. The burlap seems to be sturdy and the camo pattern is desent. I plan to use it on the weekends with part of it being in water. I'll let you know if it makes it through the season.

Black & Decker 3 Speed RTX Rotary Tool

I recently picked up this model to shave down some plastic pieces for a project I was working on. I purchased the Craftsman RTX for $25 at a local retail store. This particular model came with a wrench, a few sanding bits and a storage bag. I was happy with the performance and price paid.

New Boat Blind

Spent all day yesterday putting together a boat blind I have been planning for about a week now. Starting to look pretty good, I see a few modifications I need to make and we'll have to add some more grass to the outside to help it blend in better.
